This rice is my comfront food this is somthing I grow up on,once you know how to cook this you can make it with just about any beans.
3 cloves of garlic,diced
1 steam of green onion,cut into pieces
1 1/2 cup of Red Beans
2 cups of uncooked rice
few leave of parsley
2 steam of thyme
salt and season to taste
sheet of a damped paper towel
Boil red beans till tender, keep the water that the bean was boiled in.
When bean are ready, pre-heat oil add garlic and green onion let it cook for 20 second then add the beans and the water that the bean was boiled in.Add salt and season according to your taste,add the 2 thyme and parsley,let water come to a boil, then add uncooked rice.Let the rice cook when the water evaporate take the damped paper towel and place over the rice and cover it until the rice is fully cooked.Make sure you adjust the heat according you don’t want the rice to bur on the bottom.
