Go and Vote

The month of November is not just about Black Friday or Thanksgiving it is about the Midterm election a well, also known as the General Election. To me this election is just as important as the Presidential Election. What is a Midterm Election?, you ask.It is and election that is held two years after the Presidential election,it is when Federal offices are up for election during the midterms are members of the United States Congress, which includes all 435 seats in the United States House of Representatives, and the full terms for 33 or 34 of the 100 seats in the United States Senate. During this time other official are being elected like the state governor, state legislatures, there are also elections held at the municipal level. On the ballot are many mayors, other local public offices, and a wide variety of citizen initiatives. The President cannot do much of anything without the support of the House and Senate. The governor, mayor, and municipal level election are important as well, because the people in those office deal with issue in your state, city, town, district, and so on.Also look out for the amendment that will be on your ballot, it will affect you, your parents, your children, neighbourhood and everthing around you. Some of the topics that may be on your ballot is education, abortion, medical marijuana, water and land conservation, judicial appointments.Make sure you check your state and local amendment to see what they are trying to get and or get rid of. No matter what side you on just go out and vote, if you don’t you can’t complain about the stuff that will go on in the next few years. You don’t vote you can’t complain.

Question: Did you vote, are you going to Vote?
